True experimental study to evaluate the effectiveness of paced breathing on labour pain
Ms Geetika Kashyap student of M.Sc. Nursing 1st year has presented a research article for the Journal Club on 11/12/2015 at B.Sc. Nursing 4th year classroom from 4pm-5pm. Faculty members of ACN and students of B.Sc. nursing 4th year has attended the Journal Club. Her research topic was “A true experimental study to evaluate the effectiveness of paced breathing on labour pain perception among primi mothers during first stage of labour in a selected Hospital, Kanyakumari District”. The research design was true experimental design. In this study the researcher had focused on the effectiveness of paced breathing on labour pain perception . Presenter’s feedback:- It was great experience for me to present a research article for the Journal Club. As, during my M.Sc. Nursing program I have to do individual research and I think this type of Journal Club activities will be helpful in building my interest & knowledge in the field of research.
